Growing up as a neighbor to such a place full of history, it was a dream to be able to step foot on Alcatraz and explore it. As soon as the opportunity came up I jumped on it with no hesitation. I wanted this experience to be unique, so I chose to document my experience as if I was an inmate on the island. I looked for beauty in every corner that would feed my wish to keep going. With short glimpses of what life was like, through my exploration I lived out one of my childhood wishes.
